Project: Campaign Website for a School Board Candidate

This website, using WordPress with a customized version of the Thematic framework plus Constant Contact, PayPal, and Facebook integration, was built in a hurry for a local school board candidate.

Four years later, in the spring of 2015, incumbent Mark Metz was running for re-election—so we resurrected the site, spruced it up just a little, and went live again for a few months. Mark is now happily re-elected, and his site is again retired. More>

For a client who already had a lot of content—HTML pages on brightly colored backgrounds, created in Microsoft Word—I created a clearer site structure and a brighter look that was easy to maintain in WordPress. Text-based graphics enlivened an essentially text-heavy site. More>

This b2evolution installation provided web information for a Quaker group serving the greater Chicago area. Its clean and unobtrusive design featured a horizontal “cloud” graphic (different on each page) showing the effects of light—a metaphor for both insight and divine presence.
